Marie-Christine joined Linklaters in February 2022. She gained valuable professional experience in several international law firms in France and in Luxembourg.

She has experience with setting up Luxembourg Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), and has helped clients with setting up European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs) and advised them on the eligibility of targeted investments under the ELTIF framework. 

Marie-Christine also has experience providing ongoing advice to funds and fund managers. She has also assisted institutional clients with regard to potential investments in Luxembourg fund structures in the context of investor due diligences.

She advises clients on a variety of regulatory matters, notably licensing requirements, major financial services regulations and Luxembourg regulatory aspects of acquisitions and group restructurings.

Education and qualifications

She holds a Master’s 2 degree in Banking and Financial Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, an LL.M. in Business Law from Boston College Law School, and a Master’s 2 / double degree in French and Anglo-American Law – Paris West University Nanterre la Défense. 

She is fluent in English and French.

She was admitted to the bar of Luxembourg in 2016, to the Paris Bar in 2016 and to the New York State Bar in 2014.
